Hey everyone, hope your Monday is going well!!

This whole 9/11 Commission and the subsequent blame game that has resulted just may be the most ridiculous thing I have heard in ages. What is especially ridiculous are the Democrats and their supporters such as Moveon.org who have used this opportunity to try and score some politcal points against the Republicans. The move-on ad that lays all the blame at President Bush's feet is quite hilarious. The narrator uses his most menacing voice to announce that Bush did "nothing for months". It makes for very good theatre but the reality is these kooks have to be the most short sighted and/or memory challenged I know. Few people on the left or in the media (Same thing?) want to mention the 8 years that the Democrats had to do something about terrorism, aside from shooting up camels and bombing aspirin factories.

The blame should still be placed squarely where it belongs, with the terrorists. These people hate the Western world and America in particular, so handing out blame to different groups is not the answer. I am sure Osama or whatever is left of him is laughing his ass off watching this mud slinging from his dank cave in Pakistan. Someone needs to re-focus this effort soon, but dont hold your breath waiting for any Democrat to do it. If, Heaven forbid, they form the next government, my bet is they spend the first four years blaming Bush for everything still. I think their hatred runs so deep that they have in essence paralyzed themselves and prevented anything constructive from being accomplished. All this of infighting just steels the resolve of terrorists, because it gives them the perception of victory.

I read on the WSJ's Best of the Web today that although Senator Kerry promised 10 million new jobs, there are only 8.4 million unemployed people in America. Perhaps he is also thinking of bussing in girls to the Kennedy compound with the hopes of increasing the birthrate?? Does this man even think before he speaks?

Another good tidbit about Hollywood and Democrats. I forget where I read this so I apologize to whomever I am borrowing this from. When Al Gore met Courtney Love at a fundraiser recently, Gore approached Ms. Love and declared himself a "big fan" to which Courtney responded, "Yeah, name a song"

That is just priceless, I would have loved to seen old Al's face, maybe that wooden expression might have changed, if just for an instant.

Many kudos to Ezra Levant and company for launching their new conservative magazine, the Western Standard. I just picked up a copy today and it is awesome. It is the anti-CBC in every sense of the term. A pro-Western, pro-conservative and pro-American magazine that finally gives a voice to the millions of Canadians who dont follow the official party line. Perhaps they will print my article on limiting CBC's airtime to a few hours every Saturday night during hockey season.

Thats about it for today!!

I'm out.
