Hey everyone, just a quick rebuttal to Freddy Fred's website, as linked on my site (Steve Lance).

Fred takes issue with my "Keep Canada Christian" mantra, saying that we need a new anthem without the word God in it. While I respect a diversity of opinion, I cannot disagree more. Canada was founded Christian and should remain as such. A HUGE majority of Canadians are Christian, and we allow citizens to worship as they see fit. It needs to end there. I cant go to India and demand that they drop Hinduism, or to Saudi Arabia and demand they abandon Islam. Why then can people demand Canada go agnostic?

It has been my experience that it is not recent immigrants or people of other faiths that want this to happen. Rather it is Canadians who are do damn afraid of offending anyone that they will forego their own heritage to make others comfortable. Why take something away from people? Its not a crime to be religious, though some Canadians feel it is. Funny how the same people that bemoan world globalization and homogenization (ie-too much Walmart, not enough Mom and Pop stores) favor doing the very same thing to religion. So if you are keeping score, diversity and the goold ol' ways are good for business, but bad for religion. If they have their way, then Western civilization will cease to exist and we will be a blank slate for other people and nations to mold. Canadians of all races and religions should embrace Canada and be Canadians, or at least American Jr's.

Oh yeah, vote on cbc.ca for your favorite Canadian before someone mercifully pulls the plug on the Canuckistan Brainwashing Commune. I voted for Sir Arthur Currie.

End the CRTC and CanCon, Promoting Mediocrity in Canadian Television, Radio and Music for Many Years!!

Memorial Day 2004

Just a quick shout out to all you veterans out there, from every country. God Bless You.

The Conservative Party of Canada has issued a campaign promise today to inject 1.2 billion dollars a year into the military. This is a damn good start, but its really a drop in the bucket compared to what we need. I personally dont care if we end needing American troops to patrol out country, but if you hold the notion of a sovereign Canada dear to you, you should support the Conservatives and their plan to re-vitalize the military. If US troops move in, then we might as well lower the Maple Leaf.

I know i have mentioned this before< but why do people really care what the "Arab Street" thinks of us. For that matter I dont care what anyone thinks of us. Perhaps the Arab street should be worried what America thinks about it because if push comes to shove they will be the ones holding the short end of the stick.

If I were PM for a Week

If by some fluke or natural disaster I am forced to stay in Canada, I think I would make a good PM. Here is my 10 or 20 point plan for what I would do in the first 100 days. Now if you are left wing, socialist or even moderate, please sit down and take your heart medication.

1. Immediately sever all ties with the British Crown and declare Canada a Republic.
2. In doing so, this should effectively render the Constitution moot, so it can be re-written
3. The new and improved constitution would declare all Aboriginal land treaties void. I would give every person of Aborignal descent a one time payout to empty all bank accounts dedicated to this portfolio. (Its a hand up instead of a hand out, this will end the "cycle of poverty" that everyone whines about and make Canada truly equal)
4. Cancel the gun registry
5. Cancel the young offender act and make it a mandatory 10 year prison sentence for first offence car thievery amongst the young.
6. End medicare and cancel the GST. If people are shelling out less tax money, they can afford insurance. This way will we get some good Dr's.
7. Place some of the excess medicare $ into the military. I like Lewis McKenzie's plan for three mobile divisions with air and sea lift capabilities
8. Offer Quebec a one time choice, stay in Canada and shut the hell up or get out. If they opt for get out, I would take the voting percentages and divide up the land accordingly. If 55% voted for independence, they would get 55% of the province and one sea port. Canada would retain the bulk of the St. Lawrence seaway. They would not be allowed to use Canadian passports or the military. Except in the case of a humanitarian capacity. (Search and rescue, disasters etc
9. Get extremely tough with illegal aliens and those who might have ties to any terrorist organizations.
10. Get the hell out of the UN
11. Fire Adrienne Clarkson
12. Pull the plug on the CBC, except for HNIC and the Olympics.
13. Put Don Cherry on some of our money, not all of it, but some. And Arthur Currie as well.
14. Cancel the Canadian content rules of the CRTC
15. Cancel same sex marriages, its a priviledge and not a right
16. Put and end to multi culturalism and embrace the fact that Canada is Christian. People may worship as they choose, but dont come to Canada to escape the "oppression" of your homeland and then attempt to bring these troubles to Canada. Adapt to your new country and be CANADIAN. My ancestors didnt demand that everything be Polish or that they be allowed to wear kilts and part of their RCMP uniform, so just adapt.
17. End the metric system (stick it up your old dead arse Pierre)

You know, this may be about all I can think of. I think thats about Canadian content for me today!!

Liberals continue to amaze me

The recent speeches by a number of Liberal candidates and the PM have only cemented my dislike for the party in power. Ralph Goodale's thinly veiled threat to Saskatchewan voters to "vote Liberal or else" was completely shameless and a blatant attack on Saskatchewan's record of voting Conservative.

This, however, is mild when compared to Paul Martin's Howard Deanesque "I am not American speech". Its pretty sad that this man has nothing positive to say and has to resort to the lowest common denomiator of anti-Americanism. If our Prime Minister can't say anything positive or tell us what it means to be Canadian, then we are really screwed. He is totally pandering to the loony left wing of Ontario and Quebec by making this statement, and likely sent Carolyn Parrish into a state of ecstasy.

Here's hoping the Conservatives form goverment, it would be a total disaster if the Liberals had a minority with the NDP holding the balance of power. If you think Canada is left wing now, just wait and see what kind of a socialist disaster that turns into.

Election 2004

Good to hear that PM the PM has finally dropped the writ. Polls are showing the Conservatives are rapidly gaining ground and the Liberals would hold a minority if the election were held today and the polling #'s rang true.

The concern with a minority Lib government is that either the NDP or the Bloc would hold the balance of power. Neither of those two options looks very appealing to me, and I doubt it would play well outside of Toronto.

Time will tell I suppose.

One of these days I am going to write something on Cuba. It pisses me off that Canadians go there for holidays. I think every Canadian that goes should have to wear a t-shirt that says, "I Donated To Castro!!"

Please investigate what goes on there before you decide to make it a travel destination.

Leading off.....

I think its about time we dropped all the belly aching over the treatment of Iraqi prisoners and the worries about how it will play out in the "Arab Street"

Who cares!! If the roles were reversed our soldiers would be damn lucky to be only photographed naked instead of tortured. I am not saying that hurting a prisoner should be condoned, but lets put things in perspective here. We are not only fighting terrorists, but our own media and over-wrought sense of fairness. We need someone with great big nuts (I am looking at you Rumsfeld) to tell everyone to chill out and serve a reminder that there is a war going on. People did not whine and cry if a German or Japanese prisoner got pushed around in the Deuce, so why do people care now.

I'll tell ya why, its a friggin 1960s peace, love and LSD hangover that has emasculated an entire generation. Kids growing up playing soccer games that all end in ties and not being allowed to play dodge ball for fear of hurting someone's feelings are now adults who apply this mantra to foreign policy. And I for one think it sucks.

Back on track here, we must never forget that there is a war on, and the Arab Street does not give two shits what we think of them. They want ALL Westerners (and especially Jewish people) dead. They dont care if you oppose the war or not, they want Islam to be the only religion and Allah to be the only God. So it seems pretty clear that our own tolerance and acceptance of everyone and everything is a major hindrance to fighting a war.

Point Two for the day.....

Unions really give me a friggin headache. The trade unions that represent Air Canada have been blocking bail out attempts because of their refusal to accept pay cuts or restructuring. Now I understand not wanting to lose pay, but they should consider their options. The last time I looked there wasnt a bountiful number of airlines in Canada that these people could apply at if AC goes tits up. They just might find that the all powerful unions bargained them right out of a job.

Unions did have their place at one time, but I think they have run their course and are now not much more than a make work project for lazy Socialists.

Last but not least.....

I have a friend who wrote me an email today saying that she is now somewhat in favor of censorship and totally against multi-culturalism. She then went on to wonder if she was now a conservative, hoping she was not. What is it about the right-wing that scares some people? And why do these people take it upon themselves to spread myths and falsehoods about the right to further scare other portions of the citzenry that might not want or be able to think for themselves?

Just food for thought...

Hey everyone!!

I must apologize for my infrequent posting, this damn hockey is cutting into my writing time. I am trying to get tickets for a Flames game, I think it would be pretty exciting to watch some of this very exciting brand of hockey. Maybe there is another Sutter around to coach the Oilers, Mac-T has to go. Sorry buddy.

On to more important news, the recent atrocity committed against American citizen Nick Berg has my blood boiling. These people are absolute monsters and I hope more of the anti-war crowd finally gets the idea that there is no negotiating with these people. They dont want to be friends and they laugh at the UN (which is rapidly becoming extinct and a total non-factor).

I think that we should dig up John Wayne, Generals Patton and Bradley and Lee Marvin and let them go to town all through out the Middle East. They would be completely unfazed by politcal correctness and would soon have the entire region in lock step. Failing that, I think the military commanders should be handed a blank cheque and unlimited ordance and told to fix the problem, no questions asked. If those butchers knew the US and Britain had no rules to play by, they would crap their robes.

I would also send the reporters home. Especially the ones that are openly critical of the work going on; these ass clowns are begging for another Vietnam to make their own pompous predictions come to fruition and do not deserve to be called journalists. They are simply giving their opinion on-air.

Once Iraq et al is bombed into the Pre-Jurassic age, I would offer Michael Moore an embed with an elite unit to see if that fat asshole can keep up to some real Americans (hopefully with itchy trigger fingers and a dislike for Roger and Me).

Upon re-reading this post, I noticed it has no flow at all, so I must apologize for my ramblings. Its tough trying to be coherent while watching hockey and eating supper.

But you get the idea. Bomb Iraq, Kill Terrorists, Michael Moore licks balls.

I'm out.

Anyone catch Manny Ramirez of the Boston Red Sox today?? Running onto the field waving an American flag on the day he became an American citizen? Kind of puts a lump in your throat.

It appears al-Quaeda was involved in beheading an American civilian in Iraq in retribution for the prisoner abuse scandal. Does anyone still hold onto the belief that Iraq and al-Quaeda have no connections? I know the radical left love to bring that theory up ad-nauseum, but its high time they let it rest. It does my heart good when the nonsense these clowns espouse gets disproven. Is "disproven" even a word?

For a little Can-Con (Denny, there will still be a special place in the Re-Education Camp for you), it seems that the Liberal fall guys for the AdScam scandal were also siphoning money for ads supporting the Gun Registry. And the Justice Dept didn't know or even approve!!

Not that Liberals stealing money is big news, but what was freaky was that some of the money was earmarked for "monitoring" web sites that are critical of the registry. Seems the Liberals are a little concerned they may have pushed the citizenry too far. Is America JR not so far fetched now??

Man are the Bush twins cute. My personal favorite is Jenna, but Barbara is not without her merits as well. I can imgaine that they give that little mutt Chelsea quite an inferiority complex. They are a significant upgrade in the First Daughter department.

Now that May is almost half over and the Democrats repeated attacks have failed to dent Bush's numbers, my feeling is that are going to try and dig deeper to see what they can come up for dirt on Bush's cabinet, mainly Rummy. The further they get from the election issues and the more desperate mud slinging they engage in, the more swing votes they are going to lose. Americans, in my opinion, dont want a party that is so desperate to win that they have to make things up to present to their partisan media. I am going to go out on a limb and say Senator Flip Flop is the new Mondale, or McGovern. Whichever loser you prefer.

I say the more Rumsfeld the better.

I'm out.

Hey everyone!

I am now going to be working on the Conservative campaign in the upcoming federal election!! I am pretty excited about this and am looking forward to a spirited battle to oust the Liberals, which I feel is very doable.

Just a note to Ted Koppel, we are WINNING THE WAR!! I saw his little speech on tv tonight regarding the war in Iraq. I find his suggestion that we are "strategically" losing to be laughable. Is he trying to fulfil his own prophecies?

Just another example of the left wing media that I feel needed to be pointed out.

Anyways, I am tired after all this work.

I'm out.

Saturday, May 08, 2004

Hey there, sorry again for the lack of posts, work is cutting into my writing time. Damn this strong economy!!

Recent job numbers (from April) have shown that both Canadian and American job growth has far exceeded expectations, in both cases by almost double. This is yet another nail in the coffin for the Democrats. If Its Not the Economy Stupid! and its Not the War Stupid! then what do they have to run on?

It would appear that Kerry's one strength seems to be his Achilles' heel and the more he talks, the worse things get for the campaign. If, Heaven forbid, I was a Democrat staffer, I would suggest that Kerry simply go away on holidays for the remainder of the campaign to give him at least a fighting chance.

I know he keeps saying that when people find out who he is, their choice will be clear. Its becoming increasingly evident that the more people find out, the less they like him. That spells bad news in November.

Speaking about choice, I had to prematurely end my post the other day on the Million Abortionist Walk. Depending on what press you read (a sad statement in itself) the numbers ranged from perhaps 100,000 to over a million. However, what most of the media didnt say was that in order to bolster their ranks, the radically pro-abortion crowd had to recruit women that were likely not all that sympathetic to their cause. They appealed to the anti-Bush crowd, the environmentalists and just about every other women's group you could think of to give the illusion of having strong support.

The people marching in the rally were also supposed to be "pro-choice" yet somehow thought it necessary to protest the Pro-Lifers who peacefully lined the streets. Some women even wept and fell out of the abortion march when encountered with the women that had abortions but regretted it. Very powerful stuff!

I'm out for now, I need breakfast.

Hey Everyone,

I have been away from any computers for the last few days so I apoligize for my absense. I am not sure who I am apologizing to in particular, but maybe someone is reading.

I am pretty excited for the upcoming elections, it looks like Canada's will be very soon, possibly June 28th. I am hoping to be able to work on the Conservative campaign in some capacity and then perhaps volunteer for the Republicans once I begin school in ND. Wouldn't it be marvelous to have right wing goverments on both sides of the 49th??

Just a word on the Million Abortionist March or whatever the hell you call it. Why wont people call it abortion? Its always called choice or something less controversial, people dont even call it what it is!!
