Hello All,
Well, the Debate seemed to me to be a bust, but at least Harper could be seen as having scored a nominal victory. Martin looks old, tired and downright haggard.
Met with some of the campaign managers of the local candidates here in SK, and I am kind of disappointed in their level of knowledge, politically speaking. If I have to explain to them who Carolyn Parrish is, then there is a serious lack of knowledge on Canadian politics.
I am also a little disallusioned with some of the Conservatives candidates attitudes towards the Senate. I would like to see an Equal and Elected Senate, with two Senators per province. However, some of the candidates seem to think that it wont happen because of Ontario complaining. I say to them, tough titty, get used to it or else the West is gonna seperate or join the US. If you arent going to go to Ottawa to represent the people in your area, then dont run. If you are worried about Ontario, then move there.
I'm out.
