Hey everyone!
As the Canadian election winds down and the American election heats up, I have decided that I absolutely must go into politics. I am completely enamoured with the entire process and simply must be a part of it.
I attended and moderated a local debate today and was fairly impressed with the candidates, all of whom are extremely personable. Lonny McKague seems to be a nice man who is saddled with having to explain 10 years of Liberal arrogance to a hostile crowd in the middle of Conservative country. Robert Stringer also seems to be a good dude, but appears to be out of his element and not very comfortable speaking in front of an audience. Ed Komarnicki is also a nice man, but I have a feeling his is very moderate as far as Conservatives go, which leads me back to Grant Devine. I am against the idea of an independant, but he is head and shoulders above the other candidates in confidence and polish. Just my opinion, but its gonna be a heck of a fight come Monday.
South of the border, I would still like to see W unleash a John Wayne-esque ass whooping on the insurgents in Iraq (and Iran for that matter). Get tough and send them home to Allah in Red White and Blue body bags.
I also want to state for the record that I find Michael Moore to be completely vile and totally un-American. If he had made this shitty film during the Deuce, he would have been shot for treason.
